We are just a bunch of guys and gals who love old books and have set out to preserve them electronically so they can be made available to the general public. All books available here have been physically scanned by us and have not been downloaded from any other website. They are all part of the public domain and free to read. To find these old books, we scour estate sales, garage sales, attics/cellars (with permission of course), old book stores, antique stores and rescue them from obscurity. These books are then researched to ensure they are part of the public domain and if they are, we scan them and post them on here so they can be used again to promote knowledge.
